I had an idea i was pregnant,but was still in shock when i found out i was,but shocked with happiness.I did the pregnancy test & zak went upstairs & told me the results,michael was in california,it was september 2006,michael was quite shocked aswell & when he came home from his holiday,we had a chat about the baby & as mummys do,i started baby shopping straight away..I loved every second of it..Then in my second month i was at work & i started having severe pain in my tummy,i phoned the doctor,who advised me to go straight to hospital,they give me an appointment to go for a scan the following day as they thought the baby was eptopic,it was awful having to wait until the next day..Michael & myself got to the hospital & went for the scan,all we could see was his little heartbeat,i burst into tears & michael squeezed my hand,our baby was fine,we were so happy..Everytime i went to see the midwife & heard the heartbeat,i cried with happiness,we couldn't wait till the baby was born.We had an appointment on january 10th 07 for my 20 week scan,thats when we found out we were having a little boy,again we cried,the lady who did the scan said our baby boy was perfect & gorgeous & she wasnt wrong..Christopher was breech & i ended up in hospital every week from the start of my maternity leave on 16th april,i had an ECV,thats where the doctors try and turn the baby round with their hands,it was very painful & didn't work,so i got booked in for a ceasarean section on 18th may,that was the following week.Everything had been packed and ready for hospital for weeks.Friday 18th may came so quickly,we were excited & scared at the same time,michael got nervous giggles,which i didnt find very funny at the time,then the doctors took me in for surgery,i cried from the get go,then michael came into theatre with such a silly outfit on,he made me laugh,then within a few minutes we heard christophers first cry,michael looked at me & we both cried,we were so happy,christopher was placed at the side of me,the scan lady was right,he was the most beautiful & the most perfect baby we had ever seen,the first thing christopher did was suck his thumb,it was amazing,he had a little red birth mark on the left side of his nose,he had a beauty spot on his ribs exactly like me,but he looked just like his daddy,he was beautiful & he was ours to love forever,we were so lucky & so proud,we couldn't take our eyes off him,it was instant love & bonding for all of us,a baby so wanted..
